THINGS TO KNOW

LET'S GET STARTED

invite list

Always create an A&B list!  You don't need to invite everyone to your wedding, think of the nearest and dearest that you wish to be present.

assigned seating

Always, ALWAYS assign your guests to a table.   Assigned seating is an added touch that your guests will enjoy, it’s not too much work and adds personalization!

remember...

the more people you invite, the more tables you need to dress which leads to an increase in floral, linen and rental costs.  The best way to cost save?  Be open to cutting your guestlist as necessary #foodforthought

do i need to give plus ones?

if your budget isn’t making it easy, no, you don’t! it’s your wedding, do what you like!

the wedding party

if you have a head table and your wedding party has been allotted a plus one, it’s always a nice gesture to allow them to sit with their guest.

WHEN TO DO WHAT

SAVE THE DATES

Four months prior to your wedding date.  For destination weddings:  6 months to 1 year prior to your wedding date

INVITATIONS

2 months prior to your wedding date destination weddings:  3-4 months prior to your wedding date

VENDORS AND VENUE

Secure your date and confirm your venue.  We can’t move forward without these two things.

Priority vendors to book:  Photographers and Florists.

(please inquire with us before approaching this on your own, this is what we’re here for!)

TYING IT ALL TOGETHER

Custom paper goods are the key to tying the look and style of your wedding into one cohesive design, don't underestimate the power of paper goods.

TRADITIONAL OR NOT?

Don’t feel obligated to keep traditional wedding customs. weddings today are about what YOU want.

TRUST

Trust is the most important thing when communicating with vendors. there is a reason that you have chosen to work with them, so TRUST that they will deliver, and more, on your wedding day!

DIY

DIY is not as easy as one may think.  Some things should be left to professionals such as the floral design, save the diy for that cute little personalized cupcake topper or those lavendar satchel favor bags you always wanted to make.  Activities surrounding a wedding are more suitable for DIY rather than the wedding itself.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

In booking vendors, you get what you pay for, don’t cut corners in the wrong places! (ex:  photographer + floral design)
